Ms. Burke is a graduate of the Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.  In addition to serving as President of the Class of 2011, she has demonstrated leadership capabilities and held memberships in various academic organizations such as the National Honor Society.  Ms. Burke has also used her athletic skills, musical talents and spiritual gifts as a volunteer and participant in numerous faith-based, professional and community service venues.  She will enter Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, this fall, majoring in Biology / Pre-Med studies as she pursues a career in pediatric cardiology
