Noted historians, lecturers, authors and re-enactors shared their expert presentations and special recognition was given to the First Regiment of Washington, D.C.  Other special features included participation by members of the Massachusetts 54th Regiment, a Civil War luncheon and a wreath-laying ceremony at the USCT Memorial

2007 Prayer Breakfast

The Board of Director’s hosted MRSPT’s Annual Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, January 27th at the St. Luke Baptist Church in northwest Washington, D.C.  Rev. Pearls of Great Price

For the second year, MRSPT is offering “Pearls of Great Price,” a mentoring program for young girls designed to teach, as well as reinforce positive behavioral and social skills.  In addition to studying how to incorporate those skills into everyday life, monthly “field trips” offer opportunities to enhance their personal development. Eight students completed the course in 2006 and shared individual accomplishments and experiences with parents, family members and guests at the closing ceremonies on July 22, 2006.
