June Faire – Fredericksburg, Virginia
A two-day June Faire Celebration was held in
Fredericksburg, Virginia, June 16-17, as one of the many events observing
Virginia’s 400th Anniversary. Two MRSPT members joined other
Female Re-Enactors of Distinction (FREED) ladies as part of the Civil War
era activities. Other participants included Dr. Frank Smith, Founding
Director of the African American Civil War Museum, and re-enactors from the
Massachusetts 54th.
The ladies also took part in living history
presentations held at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in Baltimore, Maryland on
June 23rd
